The moon shining high
Way up in the sky
A part of me, floating free
Like an uncle to me.
In the sky like a face
Turned sideways
Who is she?
Anyone it can be.
On its side
A brimmed hat stands
I wonder what they are
On the moon so far.
Around the moon some nights
A wide halo that delights
Is the moon enlightened?
With halo so brightened.
Crescent moon and star seen
From a full moon that has been
The Malaysian Flag carrying
Crescent and star fluttering.
Helping wayfarers as they wander
Ramadan`s start and end marked
Moon watchers so tasked.
Bathed in moonlight
What a lovely sight
Shadows and light a fairyland makes
For a distant loved one the heart aches
The same moon we see
Some comfort for us so to be.
The sky turns blue
With the moons hue
Does the moons color change?
When it rises a yellowish red range.
The full moon with a pull
Tides rise making seashore full
Emotions can` t stay still
A full eclipse makes moon disappear
The world waits for it to reappear.
With the Super Moon for all its worth
As it comes closest to earth
Nov. 24th 2016 a rare chance
To see the Super Moon advance.
What will happen without the moon?
Trouble disaster will loom
Both we need
The sun the moon both our lives they lead.
Like the sun lineage
There is the moon lineage
Faith and devotion these based
Religions to them anchored.
Keep the moon`s mystery
Out of it comes poetry
For a scientific study
Not all are ready.
The moon as a symbol
From land a silent call
Granting a wish with a magic hand
For peace and harmony in all lands.
